Live With Urgency!
Jerusalem, Judea/Samaria and the Ends of the Earth are not new
locations to
Calvary Baptist Church of Alton.
Where are you called to go? Specifically whom are you called to
share Jesus with? Calvary continues to encourage all to live their
life with urgency.
If you are called to China, Brazil, Panama, maybe even Boston or
Seattle, then go! If not, then get involved in a local mission.
Cornerstone is part of Calvary’s Jerusalem mission field. Calvary
Baptist Church of Alton has a 80-year plus history of missions and
church planting.

It is now a proven fact that the members of Meadowbrook First Church
of God mean what they say when they announce they are “helping
connect their community to Christ”. While many churches are rolling
up their calendars and preparing to move indoors for the changing
fall weather; men, women, boys and girls from this body of believers
joined forces to put a new roof on Cornerstone’s two-bedroom
transitional house.

Did you know that Cornerstone offers grief seminars and support
groups for those that are grieving the loss of a friend or family
member? Every Tuesday of every month, at 5:00 p.m. (Doors open at
4:30 p.m.), gives
everyone an opportunity to experience hope, help and healing. People
who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you
comfort and encouragement during this difficult time sponsor this
group. All group meetings are “self-contained,” to allow anyone
to begin at anytime. There is no need to wait. Please join us at our
next meeting.
